The vast majority of us have experienced dry lips at some time or another and know how uncomfortable and irritating they can be. They can occur for a number of reasons, but often it’s simply because the skin on your lips is much thinner than it is elsewhere on your body, and so your lips dry out much quicker. Lipbalm is the go-to remedy when chapped, dry lips strike. But what is it made from and how does it work?

Choosing Promotional Lip Balms

The Basics of Promotional Lip Balms

Promotional lipbalm has a soothing, waxy consistency. It often contains beeswax or carnauba wax (also known as Brazil wax or palm wax) and can be flavoured or scented. For added protection for your lips, it is also frequently combined with sunscreen.

It works by creating a barrier on your lips that is waterproof. This means that the moisture in your lips can’t escape, and so they stay soft and moisturised for longer. This extra layer on top of your skin also protects your lips from wind or dry weather, while the sunscreen element stops them from burning.

Buying Custom Lip Care Products

Much like tissues, logo branded mints, and pens (all of which we also have available by the way!), lip balms make great promotional merchandise because they’re just so useful. They’re the sort of giveaway item that everyone will pick up, and throw in their bags or pockets for when they are needed.

Lipbalm containers are also really easy to customise with your branding and come in such a wide variety of colours that a shade that complements your brand is almost certain to be available. And if that’s not enough, they’re also low cost, easy and cheap to post or transport, and best of all, genuinely beneficial to people. Now that has to be a good tor your business!
